The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has acknowledged that The University of Scranton's online HR program fully aligns with SHRM's HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. These standards were developed by SHRM to define the HR content areas that should be studied by HR students.
Students attending a SHRM aligned program, like The University of Scranton’s MS in Human Resources, will be eligible to apply for the Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) exam beginning in Winter 2017.

Students who are admitted prior to that term will graduate with the original program name, Master of Science in Human Resources.
